Anja Moric\u2019s monograph <i>Slovene Germans. Diaspora, Identities and Inter-community Relations<\/i>. The author will be in conversation with <b>dr. Marjeta Pisk<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The book sheds light on the history and present-day situation of the German-speaking population in Slovenia, with a particular focus on the Ko\u010devar people. Drawing on life stories, archival sources and field research conducted in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, the USA and Canada, it explores their migration, processes of identity formation, remembrance and the silencing of the past, the preservation of cultural heritage, and relations between the minority and the majority population. <\/p>\n<p>The presentation will form part of the varied programme of the Ko\u010devar Culture Days, which will take place this year <b>on 24 and 26 September in the municipality of Semi\u010d<\/b>.
