The conference is organised by the Centre for International and Security Studies at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb, in cooperation with partners including the Institute for Ethnic Studies. At the opening, the Institute\u2019s Director, Dr Sonja Novak Lukanovi\u010d, addressed the participants and extended her congratulations and thanks to everyone who has contributed to the conference\u2019s successful organisation over the years.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers from the Institute for Ethnic Studies presented the following papers:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Barbara Riman and Mojca Medve\u0161ek: <strong>\u201cIzazovi o\u010duvanja slovenske manjine u Hrvatskoj: jezik, kulturna i politi\u010dka participacija\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Damir Josipovi\u010d: <strong>\u201cCroats and Serbs in Slovenia \u2013 Pending Minority Rights\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Romana Be\u0161ter and Janez Pirc: <strong>\u201cThe Role of Roma Teaching Assistants in Slovene Primary Schools: Empirical Evidence and Systemic Challenges\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Mitja \u017dagar: <strong>\u201cMajority Population Attitudes towards Multiculturalism and Multicultural Policies\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Antonija Todi\u0107, Romana Be\u0161ter, Mojca Medve\u0161ek and Janez Pirc: <strong>\u201cMajority Population Attitudes towards Immigrant Integration into the Welfare State: A Systematic Review\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Lara Sorgo: <strong>\u201cDoes Media Choice Matter? Language and Media Consumption among Italian National Community in Slovenia\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The conference provided a valuable forum for presenting the Institute\u2019s research, exchanging scientific insights, discussing current issues related to national minorities, migration, integration and security, and further strengthening international cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The full
