Organized by the Fiume Bar\u00e1tai Egyes\u00fclet<\/em> from P\u00e9cs, Hungary, and the Association of Hungarian Scientists and Researchers of Prekmurje, a roundtable discussion titled \u201cRoyal Visits to Rijeka During the Governorship of Count G\u00e9za Szap\u00e1ry\u201d a roundtable discussion titled \u201cRoyal Visits to Rijeka During the Governorship of Count G\u00e9za Szap\u00e1ry (1875\u20131877)<\/strong>\u201d was held at the B\u00e1nffy Center in Lendava.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event shed light on Count G\u00e9za Szap\u00e1ry\u2019s tenure in Rijeka and the significance of royal visits to the city in the second half of the 19th century. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Attila Kov\u00e1cs<\/em>, with contributions from M\u00e1rton Inkei-Farkas<\/em> and Dr. habil. L\u00f3r\u00e1nt Bali<\/em>, who presented the historical, political, and cultural aspects of the period in question.<\/p>\n
