{"id":9724,"date":"2026-05-22T11:16:37","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T11:16:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inv.si\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=9724"},"modified":"2026-06-02T06:44:35","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T06:44:35","slug":"dopolnilni-pouk-maternih-jezikov-in-kultur-izobrazevanje-uciteljev-in-pouk-romscine","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/projects\/dopolnilni-pouk-maternih-jezikov-in-kultur-izobrazevanje-uciteljev-in-pouk-romscine\/","title":{"rendered":"Dopolnilni pouk maternih jezikov in kultur \u2013 Izobra\u017eevanje u\u010diteljev in pouk rom\u0161\u010dine"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<div id=\"content-text-block-block_44a93f8b93ab3e2e171fbeb45701942d\" class=\"block-content-text-block\">\r\n    <p><p>As part of the professional development initiative \u201cSupplementary Instruction in Native Languages and Cultures,\u201d we are implementing the following work packages: (1) Promotion of supplementary instruction and training, with an emphasis on annual training for teachers of mother tongue and culture, and (2) the pilot introduction of Romani as a supplementary mother tongue course.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The theme of this year\u2019s training, scheduled for June 3, 2026, will be \u201cLiteracy Among Bilingual and Multilingual Children\u201d; an expert lecture on the topic, followed by a moderated discussion and a presentation of best practices by teachers, will be led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabina Zor\u010di\u010d.<\/li>\n<li>Romani language instruction continues at two schools where the program is already well-established. At Metlika Elementary School in the 2025\/2026 school year, 45 students are enrolled in Romani language classes, divided into three groups: 1st grade (15 students), 2nd grade (15 students), and 3rd\u20137th grades (15 students); classes are conducted in Romani. At the France Pre\u0161eren Elementary School in \u010cren\u0161ovci, 10 children are enrolled in a single group (grades 1\u20133) for the 2025\/26 school year; classes are conducted in Romani and Slovenian. This calendar year, we also introduced classes on a trial basis with two groups at Ob Rin\u017ei Elementary School and Stara Cerkev Elementary School.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\n\n\r\n<div id=\"content-text-block-block_2bccd6d8434159771efb5a16d5f879f5\" class=\"block-content-text-block\">\r\n    <p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"width: 40%\" src=\"https:\/\/inv.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Logo-MVI-slo-page-00001.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n<\/div>","protected":false},"featured_media":6821,"template":"","project-categories":[59],"class_list":["post-9724","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","project-categories-research-projects"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/9724","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/6821"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=9724"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"project-categories","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/inv.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project-categories?post=9724"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
