Summary

Among the planned results of the research will be a directory of refugees from Prekmurje who left the area forcibly or voluntarily after the Yugoslav occupation of the region along the Mura River on August 17, 1919. In addition, the research will also present the fate of these refugees, including some specific cases and descriptions of family stories. The results of the project will also include a study (manuscript) showing the demographic processes of the Hungarian community in Prekmurje and Slovenia from the last two classical censuses in Slovenia (1991 and 2002) to the present day.
