Priročnik za romske svetnike
Members of national minorities, including the Roma, appear in politics as dual political personalities: as ordinary citizens and as members of national minorities. This duality is most clearly evident in the dual right to vote. Members of minorities, including Roma, use their first vote to elect a representative in accordance with their worldview and interests; they use their second vote to elect a representative who will ensure the implementation of so-called special national minority rights. It is often impossible to separate these two roles, as the Roma national community (minority) is only slowly moving away from the margins of Slovenian society. They lack everything: space and communal facilities, capital (social, economic, cultural) of all kinds. There is also a lack of tolerance on the part of the majority population.
