On Monday, May 5, 2025, the director of the Institute for Ethnic Studies, Prof. Dr. Sonja Novak Lukanović, and INV colleague, Prof. Dr. Barbara Riman, visited the City Library in Karlovac, where the Central Library of Slovenes in Croatia is located. During a working meeting with the library director, Ms. Kristina Čunović, and senior librarian Ms. Vedrana Kovač Vrana, head of the Central Library of Slovenes in Croatia, discussions were held on the further development and deepening of existing cooperation.
To mark the 100th anniversary of the Institute for Ethnic Studies, the library was presented with a donation of publications dealing with the activities and position of members of the Slovenian community in Croatia.
