Lara Sorgo, PhD participated in the Congress on Minorities in Opole, Poland, on 23 and 24 September 2025. Within the framework of the panel Minority Education: Challenges and Perspectives, she and other participants discussed current challenges and future directions in the field of minority education. Special attention was paid to the challenges of teaching in minority languages and the integration of students of different nationalities into the minority school environment.
The Congress took place on the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Act on National and Ethnic Minorities and Regional Languages in Poland. The event aims to become an important reference point for further activities in support of diversity, dialogue and the building of a society based on respect for human rights.
