Evaluation studies
In 2025, the Institute for Ethnic Studies, as the coordinator of national evaluation studies, carried out tasks in cooperation with the Office for the Development and Quality of Education at the Ministry of Education and Training in accordance with the Protocol on the Determination and Method of Implementation of National Evaluation Studies. The work was carried out in cooperation with the Council for Quality and Evaluation, which reviewed the reports received from study contractors and made decisions regarding the selection of contractors.
During the year in question, the study “Analysis of the Roles and Needs of Homeroom Teachers in Leading Educational Work in Elementary and Secondary Schools” was completed, and the implementation of the studies “Further Development of Lower Vocational Education with Proposals for Systemic and Programmatic Changes” and “Assessment of the Frequency, Methods, and Appropriateness of Technology Integration in the Pedagogical Process in Preschools.” At the end of the year, a public call for proposals was also published for the study “Analysis of the Frequency, Quality, and Appropriateness of the National Sports Programs Mali Sonček, Zlati Sonček, and Krpan in the Preschool and Elementary School Periods of Education.”
As part of its coordinating role, the Institute for Ethnic Studies carried out procedures for publishing public calls, collecting and forwarding applications, notifying selected and unselected applicants, preparing contracts with selected contractors and contracts with members of the Council for Quality and Evaluation, and disbursing contractual funds to contractors and honoraria to members of the Council for Quality and Evaluation.
