Support and Development of the Slovenian Language in Border Regions and Support and Development of Education for Ethnic Minorities in Slovenia

Project: Publication “Getting to Know Porabje” (working title)

The project aims to strengthen the preservation and development of the Slovenian language and culture in Porabje. In 2026, as part of the project, we will prepare material for an educational publication about Porabje. The publication will feature diverse content and will present the characteristics of Porabje in a modern and engaging way through short articles on geography, history, language, education, folk culture, and other topics.
It will be intended for elementary and high school students and teachers in Porabje, as well as the broader interested public in the border region and elsewhere.
