Kam gremo, prijatelj? V svet! Slovenija in madžasrki begunci v letih 1956 in 1957 / Hova megyünk, bajtársak? – Világnak! : Szlovénia és az ’56-os magyar menekültek

On the 50th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the Hungarian Embassy in Slovenia organized a conference in Ljubljana on September 19, 2006, at which numerous Slovenian and Hungarian historians presented the Hungarian Revolution and its repercussions in Slovenia. The following year, members of the Hungarian community in Slovenia also paid tribute to the memory of the 1956 revolution with the publication of the aforementioned lectures, supplemented and edited, several studies of local (Prekmurje and Zala) significance, and literary contributions in the magazine Muratáj. It should be noted that between 2006 and 2008, research was conducted in coordination with the Ljubljana-based Institute for Ethnic Studies on the repercussions of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution in Slovenia and Yugoslavia, Hungarian-Yugoslav relations, and the Hungarian refugee issue in Slovenia in 1956.
