On 25.03 and 26.03, the Liber.ac. Academic Book Fair will be held in the lobby of the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana.
This year, the Institute for Ethnic Issues will also be participating in the fair, offering its book production to a wider audience as part of its 100th anniversary.
The fair opens on Tuesday, 25.03, at 10 a.m. For visitors, the fair activity lasts until 7:00 PM.
The fair is designed as a public event with an accompanying program, which establishes a new type of book fair in Slovenia, while at the same time establishing a new cultural and communication center. The fair connects various actors in the field of production and promotion of academic books, from university publishing houses and bookstores to university libraries. It draws attention to the diversity and high quality of Slovenian academic publishing, the latest achievements of science and interdisciplinary development directions in higher education. At the same time, it tries to bring the academic book closer to the wider interested public, to students and pupils who are deciding on their choice of studies, as well as to those who are deciding on a university education as part of lifelong learning.
