We kindly invite you to attend the national information event “Activities and Opportunities within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology” , organized by the Institute for Ethnic Studies in cooperation with the public agency SPIRIT Slovenia as part of the ROAD3P project. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the National Museum of Slovenia on the Metelkova museum platform (conference hall on the 1st floor).
Slovenia’s innovation ecosystem is developing rapidly and plays a key role in promoting economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development. As a dynamic member of the European innovation network, Slovenia has taken important steps in supporting start-ups and promoting cutting-edge research. By connecting Slovenian innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs with the wider EIT community, Hubs are creating sustainable growth through activities that strengthen local talent and promote economic progress.
Opportunities within the EIT and the EIT community will be presented by Mag. Sabina Žakelj Pediček, EIT National Contact Point, and Jakob Gajšek, EIT Community Officer. This will be followed by a presentation of the work of individual representatives of the EIT Community in Slovenia and a round table discussion with examples of good practice. The ROAD3P project – Expanding Horizons Ambitiously and Dynamically with the Support of Project Offices – was approved in the public call for proposals “Activities to strengthen the project offices of public research organizations.” The ROAD3P project is co-financed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation and the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
