You are cordially invited to the presentation of the proceedings Slovenian Media in Hungary and Croatia Then and Now, which will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 5 p.m. in the Slovenian House of the Communist Party of Slovenia “Bazovica” (Podpinjol 43, Rijeka, Croatia).
The proceedings Slovenian Media in Hungary and Croatia Then and Now, which was published by the Slovenska Matica last year under the editorship of Zarika Snoj Verbovšek on the basis of a previous expert consultation, will be presented by the president of the Slovenska Matica Aleš Gabrič, PhD and one of the authors of the contributions Assoc. Prof. Barbara Riman, PhD. They will focus in particular on issues related to the situation of Slovenians in Croatia: the current socio-economic situation of members of the Slovenian community in Croatia and the rights that the Republic of Croatia guarantees to members of the Slovenian minority.
The event is co-organized by the Slovenian Home of the KPD “Bazovica” and Slovenska matica.
