On November 7, 2025, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, signed a decree awarding the Golden Order of Merit of the Republic of Slovenia to the Institute for Ethnic Studies.
As stated in the decree, which will be published in the Official Gazette, we received the award:
For its invaluable contribution to the study of ethnic and minority issues and the development of research activities in the field of ethnic studies on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
At INV, we are proud, grateful, and honored that our work has been recognized at the national level.
