Seminar for Slovenian Language Teachers in Croatia in 2026

The Seminar for Teachers of Slovenian Language in Croatia will take place from 8 to 10 October 2026 and is designed to support professional development, networking, and the exchange of good practices among teachers involved in Slovenian language education. It brings together teachers from supplementary language classes, Model C education programmes, and other forms of Slovenian language teaching, as well as representatives of Slovenian and Croatian institutions. The programme includes expert lectures, presentations of contemporary teaching approaches, discussions on educational challenges, examples of good practice, and activities aimed at strengthening cooperation between educational and cultural institutions. Special emphasis is placed on supporting teachers in preserving and promoting the Slovenian language and culture in Croatia. The seminar contributes to improving the quality of teaching, enhancing teachers’ professional competencies, and strengthening cooperation networks in the field of Slovenian language education.
