PRIMIS PLUS: Stories of Multiculturalism
PRIMIS PLUS: Stories of multiculturalism: a sensory journey through the lens of minorities
The challenge after the pandemic is to promote sustainable tourism that takes social, cultural, and environmental aspects into account. Based on the experiences of the pandemic, tourism must become more ethical and focus on lesser-known destinations, where national and linguistic communities also benefit from the income generated.
The objectives of the Primis Plus project are:
- to strengthen the role of the cultures of national and linguistic communities in the program area through the PRIMIS project, via a network of multimedia centers and cross-border cultural activities
- to establish three new multimedia centers to present the communities in the program area
- to prepare a joint strategy for tourism development based on project experience over the last 15 years with the aim of positively influencing regional and national tourism policies in the field of culture
- Strengthen cross-border cooperation between institutions of national and linguistic communities and regions for joint cross-border tourism promotion of the heritage of national and linguistic communities
