Born in Rijeka (Croatia). She has been employed at the Institute for Ethnic Studies since 2006.
In 2011, she obtained her doctorate at the Department of History of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana. Her scientific interest is related to the history of the Slovenian community in Croatia and contemporary processes taking place among its members.
She regularly publishes the scientific conclusions of her research in Slovenian and international journals. She regularly participates in scientific meetings in Slovenia and abroad.
She is also active at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Rijeka, where she has been involved in the teaching process since 2011.
Since 2017, she has been the head of the Rijeka branch of the Institute for Ethnic Studies.
She is active within the Slovenian community in Croatia, where she has served several terms in various Slovenian (self-)organizations (Council of the Slovenian Minority of the City of Rijeka, Council of the Slovenian Minority of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County), and from 2018 to 2024 she was also president of the Union of Slovenian Associations in Croatia. She is an active member of the Slovenian Home KPD Bazovica in Rijeka.
